Meet Jonah! On Earth he was a Christian, husband, father and friend. Redeemed by Christ and transformed by fate, he is now an Aasimar Paladin of Adonai in world of danger, persecution and intrigue. Can he protect his family and spread the word of the One True God to these people in need of hope, just as he once was?

Meet Wren! Yesterday she was a pre-teen girl consumed by school, and sports and church. She is smart and charismatic, but she too had to surrender to being redeemed by Christ. Now, transformed by fate, she is a young Tabaxi Druid of Adonai. Torn from her comfortable life she finds her strength in her faith and uses it to stand up to the persecution and intrigue of her new normal. Can she use prayer and divinely inspired nature powers to defend her family and spread her faith? Can she use her years of theological study at school to show the providence of God as they meet the challenges of this strange and terrifying world. She too knows that the One True God is the answer for these people. Will her youth hold her back or make her and even more credible witness?

Now in world of danger, persecution and intrigue, can she use prayer and divine gifts to defend her family? Can she use her newfound confidence and abilities to bring hope and faith to a to a culture swayed by selfish pursuits? She knows that the One True God is the answer for these people. Only in God will they find hope, just as she once did?

Since Ayzee was a boy, he has vowed vengeance against the dragon who attacked his village and killed his mother. A voice from a past failed attempt brought all the old feelings back, but also some new information. Meet Gadget! Sapientia (no one could pronounce it so they call her "Gadget") was a quiet follower of Christ on Earth. Outside of church she kept to herself and her work. As an engineer and mathematician, she focused her talents on robotics and AI. When she went through the portal, she came out in Aeramor as a gnome. Something had changed in her mind like a veil lifting. She suddenly understood the math behind the magic prevalent in this world. She used her abilities and knowledge to become an artificer. She uses her skills to meld magic and metal, forging inventions to strengthen and protect her newfound family. Her innovative thinking in critical situations has made her an invaluable member of Coram Deo!

His name is Shadolok. But, what in the Heavenly Places is an Aetherian? Did you think I was going to tell you just like that?

Meet Rake, a 777-year-old Shadar-kai elf. His parents were murdered when he was young, leaving him in the care of his maternal grandfather. Instead of accepting the destiny he was offered, Rake ran and never looked back. Centuries later, he noticed a change in the very nature of Aeramor and set out to investigate the cause. This led him to Bethel and Barnabas. Will this elder elf scholar surrender to the truth of Adonai, or will his past catch up to him first?

Meet Filipina! She was just a young centaur when the other clans pulled off a coup against her father the War Chief. Coups in the clans of the north meant total annihilation of anyone who may hold rights of inheritance. She didn't even stop to mourn a good loving father. She grabbed her young cousin, and they fled as far as they could. Hungry and alone they ended up at a circus, then fighting in arenas. She became champion. That was a year ago. Today she is in a jail cell in Jericho with a shady halfling, an elderly elf and a human man who won't stop smiling. She has no idea what is next for her, but she really wishes that man would stop smiling. Watch for Heavenly Places 2: Solus Deus in 2024 to find out!

Meet Ember, a recent addition to the 'Coram Deo' team. They don't know much about her yet except that she is a follower of Adonai and has an affinity for fire magic. When the group sabotaged the Aramean/Ammonite army camp northeast of Israel they had no idea their efforts would also provide opportunity for prisoners to escape. Ember made the most of that opportunity. Once she was free, she followed her inadvertent rescuers hoping to find allies. Will she stay with the group, or will she try to find a way back to the home from which she was taken. Watch for Heavenly Places 2: Solus Deus in 2024 to find out!

Liathana was a young sea-elf girl when she wandered too far from her home and was taken by slave traders. She was fortunate to be taken in by kind-hearted people seeking a teacher in Bethel when she was a young teen. Finding faith in Adonai she dedicated her life to the service of others as a Paladin and Bard. Will Lia ever see her family again? Will she find the people who took her and end their evil ways?

Meet Draco, a young ne'er-do-well halfling from Borsippa, near Babylon. He grew up watching his thief father make more enemies than money and his mother work multiple jobs to keep the family together. His father swore his last big score would set them up for good but as always it went south, and Merrick disappeared. His father presumed dead Draco's mother incurred her husband's debts. She sent Draco away to break the cycle that would surely destroy his life as it had hers. With his father's dagger and a strange scarab symbol Draco headed south. He wasn't in Jericho long before turning once again to theft. He stole items of power from powerful people, one of which would change his life in ways impossible to predict. Can this lifelong thief set aside his selfish pursuits to dedicate his life to a higher power?

Meet Elowen, an Eladrin Druid. She woke up in a hospital bed with significant injuries and amnesia. Two women from a local church, Anna and Sara, spent time with her there and took her in when she was finally released. The three of them were on their way to a Youth Conference when they encountered the portal to Aeramor. Elowen couldn't resist the voice in her mind telling her that her home was through the swirling anomaly. So, she sprinted straight through. Her friends, overwhelmed by attackers, followed her into the unknown. If Aeramor is Elowen's home, how did she get to Earth in the first place?
